TXBSM State Lead Team 2024-2025
The Lead Team
A selected group of BSM & Church collegiate leaders who make disciples on campus and beyond!
How do I join the Lead Team?
- Ask your BSM director or church collegiate minister to fill out the Recommendation Form for you.
- YOU fill out the Student Registration Form
- Once #1 & #2 are processed, you will receive an invitation to the Lead Team.
DEADLINE to Register: October 20, 2025
What do I do as a Member of the Lead Team?
- Develop leadership skills.
- Cross-campus networking and collaboration of ideas.
- Share the story of Collegiate Ministry and its influence in your life.
- Have the opportunity to choose a leadership experience at the state level.
- Connect high school seniors to BSM and Church Collegiate Ministries as they transition to college.
Commitment
- Serve January - December 2026.
- Attend the Summit (January 7-9, 2026).
- Participate & Lead in the Abide Prayer Retreat (January 30 - February 1, 2026).
- Choose a leadership opportunity on the state level (optional)
(i.e. Go Now Missions opportunities, Bounce summer staff, etc.)
TXBSM Co-President
Two students will be selected to represent TXBSM on the BGCT Executive Board (governing body of the Baptist General Convention of Texas).
Requirements:
- Member of a BGCT Church
- Sophomore & up
- Has the ability to initiate conversation with older adults
- Required dates: BGCT Executive Board dates to be updated soon.
- Those students meeting the initial application requirements will be contacted to give an interview at the Lead Team Summit.
Students will have the opportunity to apply via their Lead Team Registration.
