BSM is a great place to make friends and grow in your faith at college.

College is one of the most important yet taxing times on a students life, and being sure that you have a strong foundation to fall back on is crucial. Through my local church and BSM I not only found friends, I found community and family. I was discipled, encouraged, and loved. When things get stressful, I have been able to not rely on the small portion that is my strength, but the strength of all those who have found their worth in Jesus and His truth.

I love the BSM. However, I believe the most important place to get involved is with a church. The body of the church is there to keep you accountable, to lift you up and give you a community to grow alongside. My church loves fellowship and getting to know each other. They help me grow spiritually with classes and small groups. They are Christ centered. They keep me plugged in to the word and it has become a home to me.

Being involved in the BSM at my campus has changed the way I look at my time at college. Although I am away from my family, at BSM I have a family of friends and fellow believers supporting me and helping me become a better follower of Jesus. The training and teaching I have received at BSM has taught me to notice the people around me and how I can be involved in showing them the Gospel.
